Dear TCNJ Community:

In my October 25, 2024, Fall Update message I shared with the community the news of the impending retirement of Vice President for College Advancement John Donohue. We will come together to celebrate John’s service to the college next month. In the meantime, I have taken steps to ensure a successful leadership transition for this critical division.

Effective January 1, 2025, David Muha will serve as Interim Vice President for College Advancement. Dave has served as the Associate Vice President for College Advancement and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer since 2013. In this role, he has been a key member of John Donohue’s leadership team and has collaborated with his colleagues across the division on a range of successful fundraising and marketing initiatives. Dave has ably served as the college’s spokesperson, skillfully leading the internal and external communication efforts for the institution. Dave regularly collaborates with members of the community across all divisions to ensure our public messaging is consistent and effective.

Dave will bring his considerable breadth of experiences and strong leadership skills to the role of interim vice president. I am grateful he has agreed to serve in this capacity and look forward to his contributions as a member of the cabinet.

Early in the spring semester we will launch a national search to identify the division’s next permanent leader. Additional information will be forthcoming in due course.
